six pack abs exercisesOne of the biggest mistakes I see trainees making when they are trying to get flat six pack abs is that they waste far too much of their time in the gym training just their abdominals.  It's not uncommon to see someone over on the "ab mat" for 30 minutes straight doing 18 different variations of crunches, 6 variations of situps, 11 variations of leg raises, and 5 variations of torso twists.

Here's what you need to know:

All of those endless repetitions of crunches, situps, leg raises, and other ab exercises are almost a complete WASTE OF TIME!

I will say that certain types of abdominal exercises (directly targeted ab exercises) are important to include into your training routine.  However, the important concept that I try to instill in my clients is that if you're doing more than 5 minutes of ab exercises per workout, then you are NOT focusing on the REAL full body exercises that are going to change your metabolism and make you lose body fat.

This the the most important factor for getting super lean and getting those elusive six-pack abs!  Full body high intensity workouts and the proper nutrition for fat loss.  Abs really are "made in the kitchen".

It's not the crunches or situps that are going to reduce your body fat so that you have flat ripped abdominals.  Instead, it's the squats, deadlifts, lunges, step ups, clean and presses, snatches, upper body presses, upper body pulling exercises, and so on...

THOSE are the real exercises that will change your entire body and your metabolism so that you have visible six pack abs and lean strong muscles throughout your entire body.

And by the way... You also DON'T need endless hours of cardio exercise to lose your body fat and get six pack abs either!  There's actually a much more effective format to structuring your workouts, that I'll show you on the next site below.
